We’re just about done bar loading the last few things into the car. We can do most of this in the morning before 10am when we need to hand over the keys and leave. It hardly feels like home anymore with everything gone bar the stuff we’re leaving for the new owners. Tonight we’re having […] Today we signed the papers selling our home. That means we don’t have to show up on Friday for the signing. We have enough to do that day anyway, including picking up the check (cheque for Brits). Now there’s a result. I now have enough ironed shirts to last me through to my last day. Reminds me I was forced to change the password on my phone at work last week. Not going to have to do that again. Today was furniture moving. What fun it has been today. We decided on using Rent-A-Wreck to hire a truck. In hindsight I’m not sure that was the best decision as that was practically what we got. While I arrived early to pick up the truck it was a bit beaten up, disgustingly filthy and full […] Phew – another busy weekend and it’s not yet over. Our older son, Ben, came to visit making this our last weekend back together in this house. On Saturday I cleaned the pool (for the last time) and mowed the lawn (for the last time).
