Nothing new today. Boat is still in Spain as of the 11:20am GMT uplink. Not that I was expecting anything different as the weather is not good. Nor has any news filtered through so I don’t know why she’s still there. The part could have been delivered and fitted and she’s just waiting it out. The weather improves this evening so perhaps I’ll see her move tomorrow.
At the other end of the spectrum the part may never have been sent and we’re at the mercy of the French ability and enthusiasm to resolve this once they return from their public holiday tomorrow. The wave height forecast shows another lump coming in by the end of week. If we miss that then we’ll be lucky to even see Dignity during our 3 week stay in the BVIs.
My other fear is whether or not the captain and crew are still there. They can’t be too pleased and the temptation will be to head off for a different delivery.
