For some time now we’ve realized that going to Europe early on was flying on the face of our “building our skills” as we go approach. So that plan is now officially scrapped. If you once saw our Plans A & B on Our Plans, the Europe plan has now gone leaving only what was once plan B. I am now updating that page (not yet finished) with links to Wikitravel as well as keeping the links to noonsite. Friends and family are beginning to think about where they would like to join us on our travels. I hope these links will help. This morning I’ve been looking at some pictures from an alternative 10 year trip. The site, which features some stunning photography follows a Frenchman, Hubert, as he travels the world by motorbike and sidecar. Well worth a visit. I was inspired by his photos of his travels through the Andes and treks to see ancient Incas sites. I’ve already been to Amazon to order some history books on the Incas.
