We\u2019ve now arrived in NJ. After closing the final sea cocks this morning we headed ashore just before 4am where we were picked up by Mike who we only met last Saturday on the local Hash. He dropped us off at the airport where we whiled the time until take off lining up in a number of queues to deal with checking in, airport taxes, various security arrangements, etc.<\/p>\n

The flight was uneventful. Movie was boring. The light refreshment amounted to a bag of crisps.<\/p>\n

At JFK we picked up a hire car for the week and drove to NJ shocked at the price of the bridge toll (now $10). Oh well \u2013 it\u2019s different economics.<\/p>\n

With a stop off to complete our taxes we\u2019ve finally made it to a motel near New Brunswick where we\u2019re cleaning up and soon to meet Ben, Sam & Jesse. Looking forward to it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
