• Sanded port prop \/ shaft<\/li>\n
• Ascended mast (using fixed bosun’s chair) to file down halyard crane.\u00a0 Inspected chaffing on code zero halyard while up there<\/li>\n
• Fixed Helen’s reading light<\/li>\n
• Serviced windlass & inspected relay<\/li>\n
• Identified parts \/ oils for winch service<\/li>\n
• Lowered dinghy (with help from Stuart) and removed pulley bolts from davits (they’re bent)<\/li>\n
• Marked remaining gelcoat dings<\/li>\n
• Bleached some deck stains<\/li>\n
• Reorganized stuff stored in spare berths ready for access to shaft seals<\/li>\n
• Changed all clocks<\/li>\n
• Removed another zinc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  We had a pleasant surprise during the day when Stuart and Sheila from Image swung by.\u00a0 We’ve not seen Sheila since French Polynesia when she flew home to see grandkids.\u00a0 Stuart was able to help me get the dinghy down to the ground as the lines weren’t long enough to reach.<\/p>\n

  This was the first day we finished all the items on the list for the day including one tacked on as we had time.\u00a0 We paid a visit to Bunnings to pick up a few bits and pieces.\u00a0 I wanted some 3 in one oil so I bought 2.\u00a0 I thought it was mildly funny.\u00a0 We then headed off for a pleasant walk along the river to stretch our legs and get some real exercise.\u00a0 Rather than cook back on the boat we opted for some fish and chips.<\/p>\n

  I’ve been adding more items, mostly smaller items so they’re not forgotten, to the project list. That pushed the list back onto two pages which was mildly annoying. That was easy to fix. I made my list into two columns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
