We left Five Island Harbour around 8am. Sailing out of the bay and down the west coast was quite slow due to the winds being masked by the island. Once out of the lee we had between 15-20 knots of wind which had us nicely tacking to the east to make our way to English Harbour.<\/p>\n
We arrived early afternoon and found and anchorage in the NW end of the harbour. We took a walk around Nelson’s Dockyard and then over to Falmouth Harbour. Back on the boat we lazed around until early evening where we barbecues burgers and sausages. Helen made cocktails but lost the lot due to a miscommunication with the blender. Right now the kids are ashore doing there own thing while we scoff the remainder of the Xmas chocolate.<\/p>\n
Communications are strained as we’re surrounded by hills. This may go out late.<\/p>\n
