Shortly after arriving in Freeman Bay, Ben, Sam & Jess swam ashore to do their own thing. Managed to secure a connection so here’s some photos of English Harbour. “Oddly enough, after living 2 months on Dignity, today was the first day of true sailing.” Odd for sure given we put in plenty of miles sailing when my parents were visiting and we did the round trip to Nevis from St Martin. Sailing out of the bay and down the west coast was quite slow due to the winds being masked by the island. Once out of the lee we had between 15-20 knots […] Out of curiosity I checked for internet signals as we’d left the antenna up when motoring around to Five Islands Harbour. Lo and behold we have a clear and stable connection from a resort just over a mile away. So here are our pics from yesterday of the bay and our bonfire on the beach. […] |
