In the morning we up anchored and headed south, sailing most of the way. From time to time we encountered win shadows from Taveuni which dropped our boat speed down to about 2 knots. Whenever this happened we fired up the starboard engine to push us onwards. We arrived at Somosomo in good time and […] Really didn’t do too much yesterday. I finished another book. The others got on with their stuff. Promise showed up in the same anchorage. I’m feeling a little better but still have a way to go. We’ll probably move on today. Yesterday we embarked upon the coastal walk which we partook last year. Wanting to make sure we could take pictures of the waterfalls the first thing I packed was the underwater housing for my camera. Having heard that the bus could come any time between 9am and 10am we went ashore around 9am and walked […] Drizzle kept us on the boat for much of the day. In the evening it cleared enough for us to go ashore and eat out. We ordered three pizzas when two would have been enough. We ate well.
