Dignity is now 340nm away from Las Palmas and closing the gap at just under 100nm per day. If this keeps up, she’ll reach Las Palmas early evening on June 20th. My guess is that she’ll leave the following day. I have been told that it will take 18 days to cross to Tortola. Although this had been in the same breath it would take 7 days to get from Spain to Las Palmas.
So taking this at face value we are looking at a July 9th landfall in Tortola. We continue to hang onto the hope we’ll see Dignity before we return on the 14th although the consensus amongst us is that we’ll be arguing over which dot she is in the ocean as we depart Beef Island Airport.
