Itinerary for next February

We now have power returned to us so I can now post my earlier work on our itinerary for next February ….

Saturday, 16th

Travel to BVIs, arrive early evening. Go straight to Nanny Cay, settle in then it’s Painkillers and dinner at Peg Legs.

Sunday, 17th

In the morning, receive provisions preordered from Bobby’s and formal check in. Later in the morning we’ll sail over to Peter Island where we’ll beach hop and eventually moor/anchor for the night. We’ll probably eat our evening meal aboard but may also visit Peter Island Resort for a moonlight walk and, who knows, a drink or two at the Beach Bar on Deadman’s Beach.

Monday, 18th

Already booked, in the morning we’ll be scuba diving with Paradise Watersports who operate out of Peter Island Resort. When we return, we’ll scoot over to Manchioneel Bay on Cooper Island where we’ll moor for the night. We expect to eat dinner ashore at the Cooper Island Beach Club.

Tuesday, 19th

Depart early morning to get to The Baths before the crowds. Hang out there and snorkel for a few hours before sailing to North Sound where we’ll moor off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Dinner will definitely be ashore and no doubt we’ll be enjoying the evening activities.

Wednesday, 20th

Another early morning start will see us sailing over to Anegada. There we’ll hire a jeep to visit the beaches: Cow Wreck Beach and Loblolly Bay. In the evening, dinner will definitely be ashore and the famous Anegada Lobster will be tempting us.

Thursday, 21st

Morning sail from Anegada over to Jost Van Dyke. First stop will be Sandy Cay where we can swim ashore and take a walk around the island. If we have time, we may also visit Sandy Spit. We’ll head over to Great Harbour where we’ll eat aboard then go ashore for some evening pleasures. A trip to Foxy’s will be in order.

Friday, 22nd

Lazy day today after all the previous day’s early starts and strenuous activities. Basic plan is to sail around the corner to White Bay and stay the day and evening. Dinner will be ashore, maybe at several places.

Saturday, 23rd

Last full day. Over to Norman Island stopping off on the way at The Indians for some excellent snorkeling. Dinner and dancing at Willy T’s.

Sunday, 24th

If we haven’t already done so, we’ll stop off at The Caves for some last minutes experiences then it’s back to Nanny Cay to wrap things up and head home.

Like any sailing itinerary, it is subject to change as weather and whim influence us throughout our trip.

And that will be that. Until the next time.
