In 10 days we will (hopefully) have closed on our house. This, perhaps, will be the end of the hardest part of our whole transition. Helen has been doing a fantastic job getting the house ready. We have decided to give most away and we’ll be giving to the Vietnam Veteran’s Association. Garage sales are the obvious choice but from what we understand everything goes for very little or nothing at all to folks who may not be that needed. By giving not […] I retire in exactly one month. The clock is ticking. Probably won’t be a real retirement as I’m bound to go back to work sometime. Nice thing is, I don’t have to think about that right now. Off to do more sorting stuff out … The Hookah has now arrived. It is a lot heavier than I imagined but in hindsight I am not surprised. This we won’t test until November when we pick it up in St Martin.
