In 10 days we will (hopefully) have closed on our house. This, perhaps, will be the end of the hardest part of our whole transition. Helen has been doing a fantastic job getting the house ready. We have to organize everything we have (had) into :
- Stuff we need during my last two weeks at work
- Stuff we need when we go to Arizona for our Wilderness First Responder training and Grand Canyon hike
- Stuff we need when we go to the Uk to visit family and friends
- Stuff we need for our trip to Annapolis Boat Show and Florida in October
- Stuff we need for our two weeks on Dignity in October
- Stuff to be shipped to St Martin for us to pick up in November
- Stuff we’re giving to kids
- Stuff we’re selling (garage sale, eBay, craigslist)
- Stuff we’re taking to auction house
- Stuff we’re letting our home buyers keep
- Stuff we’re giving to charity
- Stuff we’ll just dump
So in 10 days not only will we have sold the house, all this will be behind us. A bottle of something will be in order methinks.
