I’m not yet tired of the novelty of hooking up while at sea. Right now we’re on our way to Anse Cochon, about 3nm down the coast from Marigot Bay. We only have the headsail up in light winds so are going very slowly. That’s ok as it gives us time to get the trolling lines out. Hope again triumphs over experience. I have a new jumbo lure which is out for the second time. Looking at it this morning I saw some teeth marks so something must have had a chomp last time it was out.
Yesterday was, as planned, a slow day. I managed to read a lot of Obama’s “The Audacity of Hope” book read. Riveting stuff. We also had a snorkel. Under Helen’s tuition I made omelet for dinner.
