Where is the part?

Another day gone. This morning I had another read through all the emails I have received. Seems Lagoon have only one guy to talk to at Onan and he’s been on training since Tuesday so noone knows how the part was sent. From my perspective I have to wonder IF the part was ever sent. Lagoon didn’t receive any confirmation of delivery on Wednesday but did not act until Thursday.

Who knows? Maybe the part is on the boat, the captain found an electrician, it’s fitted and now they’re waiting for good weather (it’s got bad again you see). I certainly don’t know because it’s the weekend and everyone’s at home and no-one is communicating.

All this, I understand, is typical of the boating industry. I don’t think this is just Lagoon. If they really wanted to, they could do a lot better than this but they don’t seem to know how or don’t want to do what it takes. This is all considered a reasonable response. Any manufacturer could do better and they would set themselves apart.
