Apart from a brief dose of rain this morning the weather has cooperated for the parade. We had been told it was going to start at 1pm but at that time folks were just gathering in clumps around the lagoon. Sometime between 2 and 2:30 things kicked off. Although we’d seen everything before during Pageant it was great to see everyone out in the streets and be a little more part of it all.
Right now we’re back on the boat for a rest and to eat. We may pop out this evening to see what evening partying will follow the parade.
